Manchester United are on the verge of completing the signing for prolific German striker Lea Schüller on a permanent transfer from Bayern Munich.

The forward, with half a year remaining on her contract, has been a prolific goalscorer for her club and the national team. Having netted over 100 goals for Bayern and scored 54 times in 82 caps for Germany. Her arrival will be seen as a marquee signing for the WSL team.
