Dean Henderson Was rarely tested to make in the first half but then called into action by an opponent's curling effort. His sliding tackle against Qazim Laci demonstrated his game intelligence. 6/10

Nico O’Reilly Another assured performance from the rising star following his first cap versus Serbia. A teammate did not capitalize on the most of a gorgeous touch behind the opposing backline. The role looks secure already. 7/10

Adam Wharton His maiden beginning in an England shirt. A bit loose when playing out but his dangerous corners were a threat. A handy game manager available to the boss to have versus teams who drop deep. Booked for a poorly timed foul. Six

Declan Rice Crosses from dead balls and set-plays were dangerous. Was given room to move down the left flank yet found himself in an offside position when the ball arrived with a chance to score. Awarded a deserved break on the hour mark. Six

The star midfielder Played in a high role down the right and did plenty of the hard yards. Displayed moments of class but mishit an attempt over. Replaced late on for Rogers, a fellow player, after being booked. Seven

The winger Was presented with England’s top opening in the opening period, his strike excellently kept out from the opposing goalkeeper. As Quansah staying deep, he had to stretch the play out wide although his balls from wide areas were inconsistent. Taken off with 15 to go. Six

Harry Kane The match-winner scoring seventy-seventh and seventy-eighth finishes for his country. His first a trademark poacher’s finish and the second a classy header having drifted away from his marker. At 32, his form is unwavering with the national team are strong contenders in future competitions with him leading the line. 8/10

The attacker Found it tough to influence play out wide. Was presented with a good opening after being played in by the midfielder however Strakosha made the save. His replacement made much more of influence in his place. 5/10
